We wanted to do something else than sit inside when it was raining outside. We have talked about the Canada Science and Technology Museum and decided to give it a try.
It was interesting to witness the creativity and innovation of the human mind. The collection was interactive and very family friendly. The museum made us think about innovations from a new angle: everyday things that are not having complicated power circuits can also be something really technological.
Steam Locomotives took us back in time to the Hell on Wheels atmosphere. It felt really overwhelming. The amazing locomotives have been used by the people who saw them when they were invented. It was a good way to see how much man work it has been taking to keep these locomotives steaming.
The Canada in Space installation impressed us by the demo of a space ship. It has many buttons on the switch board of the ship and a sterile environment to work and to live in. It must take such a strong and motivated mind to handle a life in a space station.
